Warehouse worker

Electricon is looking for a new warehouse worker for our warehouse in Ikast.

The position is approximately 20 hours per week, and we will decide together how the hours are distributed.
It is important that our warehouse runs smoothly, but it is also important that the position is flexible, leaving room for hobbies and family life on the side.

In your day-to-day work, you will:

  • Register goods in Uniconta and coordinate items in the warehouse.
  • Register goods and tools in and out of the warehouse via TraceTool.
  • Our project managers order goods from our suppliers and from the warehouse themselves, and you will be responsible for packing and shipping them to our many projects around the country.
  • You will also be responsible for keeping the warehouse well-organized and ensuring we always have the agreed items in stock.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for arranging annual servicing and calibration of our many instruments, tools, ladders, etc. This is very important in our field of lightning protection.
  • There are a number of small tasks and ad hoc duties, as well as stocktaking.

You will get:

  • A local workplace in Ikast, where you have influence over your working hours and tasks.
  • A community with great colleagues who rely on a well-functioning warehouse.
  • Over time, you will learn about lightning protection and why it is important to use the right materials.
  • Pension and health schemes, a good staff association, and social events.

We expect:

To succeed in the role, you likely come from a craft/technical background. You can tell the difference between a screwdriver and a rotary hammer — otherwise it will be a steep learning curve.
You enjoy keeping things in order and helping your colleagues so they can succeed on their projects out in the field.

You can work independently and in a structured manner, as you will be a “one-person army” in the warehouse on a daily basis.
Finally, you are not afraid of technology, as you will need to register items digitally.
